Woodson & Painter Indiana H.S. All-Stars and Members of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Branch McCracken and John Wooden are both members of the Hall of Fame, but All-Star were not selected until around 1940. The two did coach against each other like Painter and Woodson. Wooden’s Purdue squad was 2-0 against McCracken and Ball State in 1929; the only time they met.

Coach Joe Hart RIP
Joe was a successful teacher, coach, and sign painter for several years. Joe left Union-Dugger as the winningest basketball coach in Sullivan County history, earning numerous awards along the way. He was an assistant coach with his son at Linton-Stockton during the winningest decade in Greene County basketball history.
