Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from theGAMEremembered!
Junior Gee, Loogootee High School basketball star, began his high school career in 1959. He started his freshman season for legendary coach Jack Butcher. Gee spent three years on the 8th grade squad, but only did grade eight one year. He began his eighth grade career when he was a fifth grader!
Perhaps no other boy or girl who has played the game of basketball in Indiana loved the game like Junior Gee. In his excellent interview with Greg Bateman, Gee shares his hardships growing up with a single Mom and seven siblings and how his enduring love for basketball got him through to college.
