Indiana All-Star Team for 2008-2009
As the season is heading towards March and post-season play, there has been much discussion on who the deserving candidates are to represent our great basketball state as a senior Indiana All-Star. It is one of the most coveted individual accolades a player from Indiana can have, second only to the Mr. Basketball award, and with it comes a lifetime of recognition and bragging rights as one of the best Indiana had to offer on a given year. Also, you get to beat the tar out of some Kentucky kids, which is always a nice, added bonus. Here is my list of some of the seniors who are most deserving of a shot to represent our state as an Indiana All-Star. Players are listed by position in alphabetical order, with height and high school.

Unfortunately, not all of these deserving kids will be able to represent Indiana as a senior All-Star, but this list should comprise the core of who will be on the squad. Anyone missing that you think should be on the list? Post a message and let me know if I missed a senior who is worth of the title of Indiana All-Star!

I think Blake Beasley from Decatur Central should at least be mentioned. He has been playing well all year and has Decatur sitting pretty right now at 11-2 heading into Saturday’s game.JANUARY 24, 2009 AT 4:30 AMp-hoops said…

WOW! A place that has FC’s Casey Coons listed as an All-Star nominee. He has been flying under the radar for so long. Flashes fans have enjoyed watching Casey for 3 years, and I’m glad to see him get some much deserved recognition.JANUARY 30, 2009 AT 9:48 AM
