I found this article interesting from The Daily Herald (Jasper,IN) Sept. 7,1967. So many writers like Charlie McPherron throughout the state of Indiana. It was Ron Critchlow writing for the Washington Times-Herald when I was growin up. I am sure everyone has a memory of their local high school sports writer.
