Vintage Basketball Buckle Shorts

Shorts included buckles to securely fasten them over jerseys, which often had button-crotch construction to keep them tucked in during games.

Rex Chapman’s Apollo High School Basketball Shorts (white shorts) still sporting a belt buckle for 1982 – 83. Never wore basketball shorts with a buckle. Must be some interesting stories…..please post them on The Game Remembered Facebook page!!!
